Dr. Thomas Kaiser is a specialist in General and Family Medicine.

He graduated in 1990 at the University of Erlangen/Nürnberg.

During his studies he gained experience through training periods in England, Canada, Switzerland, Austria and at two famous hospitals in the US, the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and the Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

He carried out a PhD (Dr. med.) in Intensive Care Medicine and sat successfully the FMGEMS, Medical Degree Exam for foreigners in the US in 1991.

During his specialist training in Germany and England he passed the “Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1996.

From 1997 to 2000 he was a  GP- partner in a well established Family Medical Practice in Surrey.

In 2001 in search of the sun he joined Dr Robin Thomson as partner in the Family Medical Centres in the Golden Triangle of the Algarve.

The two doctors developed one of the biggest private medical practices in Portugal
which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2018 .

2009 Dr Kaiser was invited to be one of the lead doctors in the launch of  the now biggest private hospital South of Lisbon as director of the Accident and Emergency Department.

He is at present the “Director of International Health” of the above mentioned Hospital Particular in Faro.

Dr Kaiser has also in the last ten years developed one of the finest practices in cosmetic medicine, where he offers the full spectrum of aesthetic medicine in cooperation with Dr Francisco Iberico Nogueira from Lisbon.
